English has become a global language. Therefore, here at Colegio Cafetal Bilingue; we have realized the need to implement a program that fulfills the necessities of our students to interact clearly and effectively between them, each other, and with the rest of the world as a result of globalization.
In addition to this, the role of English has become even more demanding for our students because it is the way to overcome cultural barriers, ensuring them better opportunities and also help them become future leaders in their lives.
All the methodologies will be led and based upon the situated learning and active, collaborative learning approaches, as well as our school’s philosophy, which is based on the principles of love, constructivism, multiple intelligences, and experiential learning group work, and effective communication.

Other features of our English Program:
With these methods, we will enhance our student´s humanistic and intellectual potential to develop a high level of performance. In other words, we aim to cultivate well-rounded individuals. Our program also focuses on cross-curricular work in reading and writing, specifically in Technology, Science, and Math.
Students will get an opportunity to interact with English Native Speakers at our English Camp and also with our international storytellers. We follow the Common European Framework and aim to have our students achieve.
A B1-B2 certificate. We have already had three promotions with 100 percent of TOEFL-certified students.

This popular contest started to be held at our school in 2015 and has supported our students’ vocabulary acquisition successfully. The preliminaries test take place along the year and the finals are celebrated on October within the cultural week. We invite some schools to join us in this great event.
